Each morning, just after dawn, local farmers hand-pick the resinous wood from select trees, using age-old techniques passed down through their families.

How to use bakhoor?

Option 1: With Charcoal Burner (Traditional Method)

1. Set up a mabkhara (traditional incense burner).

2. Light a charcoal disc using tongs or a lighter until it starts to spark.

3. Let it heat up for 1–2 minutes until glowing red.

4. Place the charcoal in the mabkhara.

5. Add a small piece of bakhoor on top of the hot charcoal.

6. Enjoy the rising smoke as it perfumes your room, clothes, or body.

7. Waft the smoke over yourself or fabrics carefully (optional but traditional).

8. Dispose of ashes safely once cool.

Option 2: With Electric Burner (Safer & Easier)

1. Turn on the electric burner.

2. Wait for it to heat up (usually 2–5 minutes).

3. Place bakhoor on the metal plate.

4. Let it smolder slowly, releasing fragrant smoke.

5. Turn off burner when done and let it cool before cleaning.

Our bakhour, packaging, and labeling all come from Lagos, Nigeria. Though we store our products in the UAE so they get to you as fast as possible.

We only ship to the UAE and Nigeria at the moment, with plans to expand to the rest of the GCC.
