What is bakhoor and how is it used?

Bakhoor is a traditional Arabic incense made from a blend of natural ingredients, including wood chips, essential oils, and fragrances. It is commonly used to scent homes and create a welcoming atmosphere, particularly during special occasions or rituals.

What are the benefits of using bakhoor?

How do I burn bakhoor?

Bakhoor is typically burned on a charcoal disc or an electric burner. Place a small amount of bakhoor on the heated surface and allow it to release its fragrance. Ensure proper ventilation in the area to enjoy the aroma fully. Optionally use tin foil to extend burn time.

How long does our bakhoor last?

Our scent durations vary from bakhoor to bakhoor, though you can expect 1-4 hours of bakhoor goodness. Check our product details for specific duration.

Is bakhoor safe to use indoors?

When used properly, bakhoor is safe for indoor use. It is essential to ensure adequate ventilation and to monitor the burning process to prevent any potential hazards.

How should I store bakhoor?

We recommend the "Tayif" as it's our personal favourite.

How long does delivery take?

Our standard delivery is within 2-10 business days. If you would like next day delivery, choose the VIP delivery option.

When will my order ship?

We usually ship orders within 1-2 business days unless we have an unusual amount of orders to ship.

How can I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking link via email as soon as your order ships, which will take 1-2 business days. You can also track it here.

Do you offer international shipping?

No, unfortunately we ship to the UAE only. Though we hope to expand to other gulf countries soon.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

Please contact us at shipping@munafbakhoor.com within 24 hours of ordering to request a change.

My order still hasn't arrived?

If your order is delayed, please check tracking info first. Still no updates? Keep in mind it can take 1-2 business days for us to fulfil your order, and 1-8 more business days for our delivery service to pick up and deliver your order. If your order still doesn't have tracking after 5 business days, we're more than happy to help! Contact us on shipping@munafbakhoor.com.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free shipping on all our orders.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 10 days of delivery.

How do I return an item?

To start a return, email us at returns@munafbakhoor.com with your reason for return, order number, email and/phone, and bank transfer details.

 

Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Apple pay, Google pay, Visa, Mastercard, and more.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes! We use SSL encryption and secure payment gateways to protect your information. We advise customers to only use private or trusted networks to make payments on our sites to ensure their information stays private.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Shipping can also be done by our 3rd party delivery service and will be deducted from the refund amount (usually costs as much as charged for the delivery). Full details are available on our Returns page.

When will I get my refund?

Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving your return. It may take additional time for your bank to post it. Contact refunds@munafbakhoor.com for help.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax is applied where required by law and is calculated at checkout.

Why was my payment declined?

This could be due to a mismatch in billing info or bank authorization. Please try another method or contact your bank. If you still face issues contact us at contact@munafbakhoor.com.

Apple pay says billing or shipping address is incorrect?

To fix this issue make sure your address is written with your emirate in BOTH the "Area" and "City" inputs.

Can I use multiple discount codes?

Only one promo code can be used per order unless stated otherwise.

 

Orders

Can I request a custom or personalized product?

We generally don't offer personalization on products. Though some arrangements may be able to be made by contacting our team on orders@munafbakhoor.com.

Can I cancel or edit my order after placing it?

We can modify or cancel orders free of charge within 24 hours of purchase. Contact us ASAP on returns@munafbakhoor.com for cancelations, and on orders@munafbakhoor.com for order modifications.
